Festival Area In the centre of the resort The Festival area is the very center of Avoriaz and the liveliest part of the resort. It takes its name from the renowned Fantastic Film Festival. The Festival area is located at the heart of Avoriaz. It encompasses the main shopping streets as well as a dedicated sledding area and the famous Children’s Village. There are plenty of shops, including ski stores, gift shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, local products, and a bakery. The restaurant and bar terraces line the main street, offering sunny lunches and festive dinners as night falls. The ski area is easily accessible from the slopes that cross the resort or simply by taking the main street leading to the Arare sector. The Dromonts ski lift, right in the center, provides quick access to the Plateau and Super Morzine sectors.
